USNS Stalwart Cocaine Seizure Photos — Caribbean Counter-Narcotics

The USNS Stalwart (T-AGOS-1) was a Cold War ocean surveillance vessel built for anti-submarine warfare, using a towed SURTASS sonar array to track Soviet submarines. By the time I was aboard she was doing counter-narcotics work in the Caribbean — these photographs include a cocaine seizure, along with port visits to Key West and Panama. She was decommissioned in 2002.
